Refund/Deposit Policy
At Joe’s Mini Cows Ranch, we are committed to transparency, animal welfare, and clear communication with all our customers. Due to the unique nature of livestock sales and the significant preparation involved, our refund and deposit policy is structured to protect both the buyer and the animals in our care.
Deposits
All reservations for miniature cows require a non-refundable deposit. A deposit confirms the buyer’s serious intent and allows us to immediately remove the animal from public availability. Once a deposit is received, we begin individualized preparations, including veterinary scheduling, health documentation, feeding plans, and logistical coordination.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:

Change of mind by the buyer

Personal or financial circumstances

Delays caused by the buyer

Failure to complete the remaining balance on time
This policy exists because once an animal is reserved, we incur costs that cannot be reversed.
Final Payments
The remaining balance must be paid in full before transport or pickup is scheduled. Failure to complete payment within the agreed-upon timeframe may result in forfeiture of the deposit, and the animal may be relisted for sale.
Refunds
Because livestock sales are final, no refunds are issued once full payment has been made, except in the rare event that Mini Cows Ranch is unable to deliver the animal due to unforeseen circumstances directly under our control (such as sudden illness or loss of the animal prior to transport).
In such cases, the buyer will be offered one of the following options:

A full refund of the amount paid, excluding the deposit if already applied

A credit toward another available animal

Transfer of the deposit to a future purchase (case-by-case basis only)
Shipping, Crates & Insurance Deposits
Shipping-related costs, including crate rental or purchase and optional insurance deposits, are handled separately from the animal purchase price.

Crate rental deposits are refundable only after the crate is returned in good condition.

Insurance deposits, if applicable, are refundable once delivery is completed successfully and confirmation is received from all parties involved.
Any damage, loss, or misuse may result in partial or full forfeiture of these deposits.
Acknowledgement
By submitting a deposit or payment through Mini Cows Ranch, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to this Refund & Deposit Policy in full.
